If you are starting from downtown Cincinnati, head towards the Ohio River. From Fountain Square, walk south on Vine Street until you reach 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street and continue walking until you reach the riverfront. You will see the Great American Ball Park on your left. Continue walking along the riverfront until you reach the intersection with Pete Rose Way. Turn right onto Pete Rose Way and follow the path along the river. After about a 15-minute walk, you will see the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge ahead, connecting Cincinnati and Covington.
Public Transit (Bus)
From the Cincinnati Public Library at 800 Vine St, take the Metro bus route 1 (the Blue Line) towards the 'Cincinnati - 5th & Elm' stop. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at '5th & Broadway'. From there, walk south on Broadway Street until it intersects with 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street and head towards the river. Once you reach the riverfront, follow the path along Pete Rose Way for about 15 minutes until you arrive at the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike share programs. Start from the downtown area and head toward the river. Follow the bike lanes along the riverfront, which will take you past the Great American Ball Park. Continue riding along the river until you reach Pete Rose Way. Follow Pete Rose Way towards the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes.
