Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the center of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Head south on Riverview Road (Route 8) toward Broadview Road. Continue on Riverview Road until you reach the intersection with Bridle Trail. Turn left onto Bridle Trail and follow it until you see Lawrence Grist Mill on your right. Parking is available at the site.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take the RTA bus from downtown Cleveland to the Brecksville station. From there, you can catch the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) train that stops near the park. Once you arrive at the appropriate station, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along the marked trails to reach Lawrence Grist Mill. Be sure to check the train schedule in advance to plan your trip effectively.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, there are scenic bike paths in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. You can rent a bike at one of the park's rental locations, then follow the Towpath Trail south toward Lawrence Grist Mill. The bike ride will take you along the beautiful Cuyahoga River, and you will eventually reach Bridle Trail, where you can find the mill. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all biking regulations.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity and wish to walk, take the Towpath Trail heading south from the Boston Store visitor center. Follow the trail for about 2 miles, and you will eventually intersect with Bridle Trail. Turn right on Bridle Trail, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Lawrence Grist Mill. This is a great option for those who want to enjoy the natural beauty of the park at a leisurely pace.
