Ferry
To reach Inscription Rock located on Kelleys Island, you will first need to take a ferry from Sandusky. Head to the Jet Express Ferry terminal located at 1, 1 S Shoreway Dr, Sandusky, OH 44870. The terminal is about a 15-minute walk from downtown Sandusky. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Kelleys Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kelleys Island, walk towards E Lakeshore Dr. Follow the road until you see signs for Inscription Rock. It will be a short walk from the ferry landing.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Sandusky and take it with you on the ferry to Kelleys Island. Ride to the Jet Express Ferry terminal at 1 S Shoreway Dr, Sandusky, OH 44870. After securing your ticket, board the ferry with your bicycle. Once on Kelleys Island, cycle towards E Lakeshore Dr. Follow the road signs for Inscription Rock; it’s a scenic ride with beautiful views along the way.

Unfortunately, walking directly to Inscription Rock is not possible since it is located on Kelleys Island, which requires a ferry. However, if you are on Kelleys Island already, you can walk to Inscription Rock from the ferry landing. Once you disembark, head northeast towards E Lakeshore Dr. Follow the road for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the landmark. This walk is pleasant and offers great views of the surrounding area.
