Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Firelands, head north on State Route 53. Follow the signs for US-6 W. Take the exit towards I-75 S and merge onto I-75 S. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 201 for US-24 W towards Maumee. Merge onto US-24 W and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 6 for Jerome Rd. Turn left onto Jerome Rd and follow it for about half a mile. The Fallen Timbers Battlefield Metropark will be on your left at 4949 N Jerome Rd, Maumee, OH 43537.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, you can take the local bus service from Firelands to Maumee. Check the local transit authority for the latest schedules and routes. Once you arrive in Maumee, you will need to take Bus Route 4 towards the 'Jerome Rd & US 24' stop. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Fallen Timbers Battlefield Metropark. Head north on Jerome Rd to reach the park entrance at 4949 N Jerome Rd.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can take the scenic route from Firelands to Fallen Timbers Battlefield Metropark. Start by heading north on the local bike path that connects to State Route 53. Follow this path to US-24 W, where you can access the bike lanes. Continue on US-24 W until you reach Jerome Rd. Turn left onto Jerome Rd, and the park will be on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws.

• Walking

  If you are staying in a nearby hotel or a local area, you can also walk to the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Metropark. Simply head north on Jerome Rd if you are in the vicinity. It’s a pleasant walk of about a mile from the closest residential area. Ensure you use sidewalks where available and be mindful of traffic.
