Walking
From downtown Mansfield, head east on East Fourth Street toward North Walnut Street. Continue straight until you reach North Main Street. Turn left onto North Main Street and walk north until you reach the intersection with State Route 13 (North Lexington-Springmill Road). Cross State Route 13 and continue walking north. After approximately 1 mile, you will see signs for Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve on your left. Follow the path leading into the preserve.
Bicycling
Start at the Mansfield Public Library located at 43 West Third Street. From the library, head north on North Main Street. Continue on North Main Street until you reach the intersection with State Route 13 (North Lexington-Springmill Road). Turn left onto State Route 13 and ride north for about 1 mile. Look for the signs indicating Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve on your left side. The entrance is accessible from the bike-friendly roads.
Public Transportation
Begin at the Richland County Transit Authority (RCTA) bus stop in downtown Mansfield. Take the RCTA Route 1 bus heading toward the North Main Street area. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop near State Route 13 (North Lexington-Springmill Road). From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles north along State Route 13, where you will see the entrance to Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve on your left. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings.
