From Maumee Bay State Park, start by heading west on East State Park Road toward the exit. Continue straight until you reach the junction with State Route 2. Merge onto State Route 2 West and follow the signs for I-280 South. Take I-280 South for approximately 10 miles. Then, take exit 1B for US-6 West toward Perrysburg. Continue on US-6 West for about 10 miles. Then, take State Route 65 North towards McClure. After approximately 3 miles, turn right onto State Route 65. Mary Jane Thurston State Park will be on your right at 1466 State Rte 65, McClure, OH 43534.

Start at Maumee Bay State Park and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the TARTA (Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority) Route 4 bus towards the Downtown Toledo Transit Center. At the Transit Center, transfer to Route 21 heading towards Perrysburg. You will need to check the TARTA schedule for specific departure and arrival times. After arriving in Perrysburg, walk to the nearest bus stop that services Route 6 which will take you towards McClure. Note that public transportation may take longer than driving directly, and it is recommended to check schedules in advance. There may be a fare for each bus trip, typically around $1.50 per ride.
