Car
If you are driving, start from downtown Maumee Valley. Head east on US-20 (East Broadway) towards the intersection with OH-295. Continue on US-20 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with OH-15. Merge onto OH-15 East towards Upper Sandusky. After about 15 miles, take the exit for County Road 24. Turn left onto E County Rd 24 and continue for approximately 3 miles. Bowen Nature Preserve will be on your right at 11891 E County Rd 24, Republic, OH 44867.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you will need to check for local bus services that operate in Maumee Valley. Take a bus heading towards Republic. Once you reach Republic, you may need to take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Bowen Nature Preserve, as it is located approximately 3 miles from the nearest bus stop. Be sure to ask the bus driver for the best route to your destination. Costs may vary based on the service used, so check local transportation websites for fare information.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Maumee Valley. Start by heading east on US-20 towards OH-295. There are bike lanes available for part of the route. Once you merge onto OH-15, continue north until you reach County Road 24. Follow E County Rd 24 for about 3 miles. Please ensure to wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws. This option is free aside from any rental fees for the bike.
