If you're driving from downtown Maumee, start by heading north on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-24. Take the ramp onto US-24 N. After approximately 10 miles, take exit 3 for OH-2 N toward Whitehouse. Merge onto OH-2 N and continue for about 3 miles. Take exit 1 for US-20 toward Whitehouse. Turn left onto US-20 W and follow for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Obee Rd, and The Butterfly House will be on your left at 11455 Obee Rd, Whitehouse, OH 43571. Parking is available on-site for free.

To reach The Butterfly House via public transportation, you'll first need to get to the nearest bus stop serviced by the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA). From Maumee, take the TARTA bus route 7 towards Toledo. Get off at the stop on US-20 near the intersection with Obee Rd. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk (1 mile) to The Butterfly House. Head west on US-20 and turn right onto Obee Rd. Walk until you reach 11455 Obee Rd. Be sure to check the TARTA schedule for the latest times and routes. Note: TARTA may have a fare, typically around $1.50 for a single ride.
