Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-75 N from your location in Miami Valley. Continue on I-75 N for about 20 miles. Take exit 69 for OH-55 toward Troy. After exiting, turn left onto OH-55 W. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles until you reach the city of Troy. Once in Troy, turn right onto S Market St, then take a left onto W Main St. Continue until you find the Great Miami River Recreational Trail parking area on your left. Parking is typically free, but verify signs on-site.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transport, check the local bus service operated by the Miami Valley Regional Transit Authority (MVTA). You can catch the bus from various locations in Miami Valley. Look for routes that service Troy, such as Route 6. Once you arrive in Troy, disembark at the Troy Main Street stop. From there, walk south along Market St, then head west on Main St until you reach the Great Miami River Recreational Trail. Ensure you check the MVTA schedule for any potential fare costs.

• Biking

  For a more scenic route, consider biking to the Miami Conservancy District Levee. Use the Great Miami River Recreational Trail which is bike-friendly. If you're in a nearby area, follow the signage to the trail. Once on the trail, you can enjoy a leisurely ride towards Troy. Be mindful of your safety gear as biking is allowed on the trail, and there are no fees for using the trail.

• Walking

  If you're staying in downtown Troy, you can walk to the Miami Conservancy District Levee. From the center of Troy, head south on S Market St, then turn left onto W Main St. Continue walking west until you reach the Great Miami River Recreational Trail. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace. There are no fees associated with walking.
