If you're driving from downtown Cleveland, head south on I-77 S. Continue on I-77 S for about 40 miles. Take exit 22A to merge onto I-76 E toward Akron. After about 5 miles, take exit 22 for OH-8 S toward Akron. Continue on OH-8 S and take exit 1B for W Exchange St. The Ohio and Erie Canalway Heritage Area is located at the Richard Howe House, 47 W Exchange St, Akron, OH 44308. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply depending on where you choose to park.
