Getting There

    From any location in Punderson State Park, start by exiting the park and head south on Punderson State Park Road. Continue onto Punderson Manor Lodge Road until you reach the intersection with State Route 87 (Ravenna Road). Turn left onto State Route 87 and continue for approximately 5 miles. You will pass through the town of Newbury. After passing through Newbury, continue straight until you reach the traffic light at the intersection with State Route 44. Turn right onto State Route 44 and follow it for about 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Ravenna Road (State Route 6). The Walter C. Best Wildlife Preserve will be on your left at 11620 Ravenna Rd, Chardon, OH 44024. Parking is available on-site.
