Ferry
To reach Scheele Preserve on Kelleys Island, start by taking the Kelleys Island Ferry from Sandusky. Head to the ferry terminal located at 510 W Shoreline Dr, Sandusky, OH 44870. You can walk there from downtown Sandusky in about 15 minutes. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Kelleys Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Kelleys Island, disembark and head southwest on Division St towards the intersection with Monagan Rd. Turn left onto Monagan Rd and continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach Scheele Preserve on your right.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from your location in Sandusky to the Kelleys Island Ferry terminal at 510 W Shoreline Dr. After arriving at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Kelleys Island. The ferry ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kelleys Island, walk southwest on Division St for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Monagan Rd. Continue along Monagan Rd for about 1 mile until you find Scheele Preserve on your right.
