Getting There

  • Walking

    From downtown Sandusky, head east on W Shoreline Dr toward Columbus Ave. Continue straight onto E Shoreline Dr, following the waterfront. After about 1 mile, turn left onto E Water St. Walk until you reach the intersection with E Monroe St. Turn right onto E Monroe St and continue to follow it. After about 2 miles, you will reach a fork; take the right fork onto OH-163 E. Continue on OH-163 for about 6 miles, which will lead you towards Marblehead. Look for signs directing you to Marblehead Lighthouse State Park. Once you enter the park, follow the signs to Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society.

    From downtown Sandusky, take the Sandusky Transit bus (Route 1) toward East Sandusky. Get off at the intersection of OH-163 and E Water St. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles east along OH-163. Follow the road signs for Marblehead Lighthouse State Park.
