Car
If you're driving, start from any location within the Lake Erie Islands. Head to the ferry terminal to take a ferry to the mainland if you are on one of the islands. For example, if you are on Put-in-Bay, take the Miller Ferry or the Jet Express to either Catawba Island or Sandusky. Once you arrive on the mainland, follow signs to Route 2 East. Continue on Route 2 and take the exit for Route 163 East toward Port Clinton. Follow Route 163 until you reach Route 269. Turn right onto Route 269, and then take a left onto East Bayshore Road. Meadowbrook Marsh will be located at 8577 E Bayshore Rd, Lakeside, OH 43440, on your right. Parking is available on-site.

If you are using public transportation, first take a ferry from your island to the mainland. Once on the mainland, you can take a local bus service from the ferry terminal to Sandusky. From Sandusky, look for a local transit option that goes towards Lakeside. It may require transferring buses, so ask the driver for assistance if needed. Once you reach Lakeside, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Meadowbrook Marsh at 8577 E Bayshore Rd. For those who enjoy cycling, bring your bike on the ferry to the mainland. After disembarking, follow the same route as cars, sticking to the bike lane on Route 2 and then taking Route 163. Once you arrive at Meadowbrook Marsh at 8577 E Bayshore Rd, you can lock your bike at designated bike racks available on-site.
