If you are traveling by car, start from any point within Wayne National Forest. Use your GPS or map application and enter the destination: 11661 State Park Rd, Athens, OH 45701. Follow the signs to OH-32 E, then merge onto US-50 E. Continue on US-50 E until you reach the junction with State Route 682. Take State Route 682 and follow the signs for Strouds Run State Park. The park entrance will be on your left.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, first check for any local bus services that operate in the area. You may need to take a bus to Athens, OH. Once in Athens, use the local transit services or rideshare apps to reach Strouds Run State Park. Be sure to confirm the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited. If no direct service exists, consider taking a taxi or rideshare from the bus station in Athens to the park.
Bicycle
For those who are adventurous and prefer cycling, you can bike from nearby locations within Wayne National Forest. Ensure you have a good map of local cycling routes. From your location, navigate towards the nearest road that leads to State Route 682, which will take you directly to Strouds Run State Park. Be aware of traffic and always wear a helmet.
