If you are travelling by car, start from the center of Mansfield, Ohio. Head west on W Fourth St toward N Main St. Continue straight onto OH-13 N/N Main St. After approximately 2 miles, merge onto US-30 W via the ramp to Fort Wayne. Stay on US-30 W for about 10 miles. Take exit 165 for OH-603 toward Bellville. Turn left onto OH-603 S, and after about 5 miles, turn right onto OH-97 W. Continue for another 3 miles, and then turn left onto Park Rd. Follow the signs to Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve, which will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.

For those using public transportation, start by taking the local bus service to the Mansfield Transit Center. From the Transit Center, board the bus heading towards Bellville. Depending on the schedule, you may need to transfer at Bellville to a local taxi service to reach Fowler Woods State Nature Preserve, as public transport does not extend directly to the preserve. The taxi ride from Bellville to the preserve will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will incur a fare of around $15-$25 depending on the service.
