Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Western Reserve. Head south on W 130th St toward the I-71 N ramp. Merge onto I-71 N and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 240 for I-271 N toward Cleveland. Merge onto I-271 N and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 29B to merge onto US-422 E toward Warren. Continue on US-422 E for about 6 miles, then take exit 27 for OH-303 toward Medina. Turn left onto OH-303 W and follow the signs to Hinckley. Once in Hinckley, turn right onto Hinckley Lake Loop Trail, where you will find Whipps Ledges.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the RTA bus #51 from downtown Cleveland to the South Park Mall (cost: approximately $2.50). From South Park Mall, transfer to the #51X bus towards Medina. Get off at the Hinckley Reservation stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach Whipps Ledges along the Hinckley Lake Loop Trail.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike shop in Western Reserve. Follow the same route as by car, but use bike trails where available. The total distance is about 12 miles, and it may take approximately 1 hour to reach Whipps Ledges by bike, depending on your speed. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
