If you are traveling by car, from the center of Cross Timbers, head east on Main Street towards S 1st St. Continue straight for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with US-177. Turn left onto US-177 North and continue for approximately 15 miles. Then, merge onto I-40 E and drive for about 30 miles. Take exit 148 toward Oklahoma City and follow the signs for SE 29th St. Continue on SE 29th St, which will eventually turn into SE 44th St. After about 5 miles, you will reach the Cross Timbers Campground area. The campground is located at 8JQM+R2, Oklahoma City, OK 73165.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you will first need to take a local bus from Cross Timbers to Oklahoma City. Board the bus at the nearest stop on Main Street heading towards Oklahoma City. The fare is typically around $1.50. Once you arrive in Oklahoma City, transfer to Bus 28 towards SE 44th St. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the nearest stop to the campground, which is close to SE 44th St and the I-40 interchange. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the campground located at 8JQM+R2, Oklahoma City, OK 73165.
