Car
If you are driving from a location within Red Carpet Country, head towards State Highway 50A. From the nearest major city, such as Woodward, take US-183 North for approximately 36 miles until you reach Freedom, Oklahoma. As you enter Freedom, look for signs directing you to Alabaster Caverns State Park. Turn onto State Highway 50A and continue for about 8 miles. The park entrance will be on your right, marked with signage. There is no entry fee for the park itself, but be sure to check for any additional costs for cave tours or activities.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options may be limited in this rural area. However, you can check if Greyhound or local shuttle services operate in your area. If traveling by bus, take a Greyhound bus to Woodward, Oklahoma. From Woodward, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Alabaster Caverns State Park, which is approximately 36 miles away. Be sure to confirm taxi availability in advance as options may be limited.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can bike to Alabaster Caverns State Park. From Freedom, head southwest on State Highway 50A. The route is mostly flat, but be prepared for some traffic. Walking
