If you are driving from Salalah, head east on the Sultan Qaboos Street (also known as Route 49) for about 40 kilometers. Continue straight until you reach the junction towards Mirbat. Take the right turn towards Mirbat and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Gravity Hill. As you approach the coordinates 17.042677, 54.612713, be prepared to look for an unmarked road. Gravity Hill is located on an unnamed road that is slightly off the main road. There is no entrance fee, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel for the round trip, as services are limited in the area.
Public Transportation
To utilize public transport, take a bus or shared taxi from Salalah to Mirbat. Buses depart regularly from the Salalah bus station, and the fare is approximately OMR 1.5 to 2. Once you reach Mirbat, you may need to hire a local taxi to take you to Gravity Hill, which is about a 10-kilometer ride. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around OMR 3 to 5 for a round trip. Be sure to confirm the return time with the taxi driver, as public transport options in the area may be limited.
