Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the Ibri Souq, a vibrant market located in the heart of Ibri. From the Souq, head south on Al Hamra Street. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Sultan Qaboos Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Sultan Qaboos Street. Continue walking straight for another 1 kilometer. You will see Al Khandaq Fort on your right, located in Al Buraimi. The fort is easily recognizable by its historic structure.

Public Bus
Begin your trip at the central bus station in Ibri. Take a bus heading towards Al Buraimi. The buses are frequent, and the journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Al Buraimi, disembark at the closest bus stop to Al Khandaq Fort. From there, it’s a short 500-meter walk. Head east on the main road, and you will see the fort on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Ibri. Start at the Ibri Souq and cycle south on Al Hamra Street. After about 1.5 kilometers, take a left onto Sultan Qaboos Street. Continue cycling for another 1 kilometer until you reach Al Khandaq Fort, which will be on your right. The ride is relatively flat and safe for cyclists.
