Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ibri, head southeast on Al Watan Street towards the Ibri Fort. Continue straight for approximately 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Oman Street. Walk for another 1.5 km, and you will see signs directing you towards Al Suwayq. Follow these signs and after about 2.5 km, you will enter the town of Al Suwayq. As you approach Al Suwayq, look for the castle which is located on a small hill. The castle is about 500 meters from the main road, and you can follow the pathway leading up to it.

From the Ibri bus station, take a local bus heading towards Al Suwayq. The bus will drop you off at the main square of Al Suwayq. Once you disembark, head northeast towards the castle. You can ask locals for directions if you have difficulty finding it. The castle is approximately a 15-minute walk from the square, following the main roads and taking the left fork leading uphill.
