Start at the Ibri Souq, which is located in the center of Ibri. From the souq, head north on the main road (Sultan Qaboos Street). Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Oman Road (Route 21) heading out of the city. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will come across signs directing you towards Wadi Quraiyat Dam. Follow these signs, which will lead you onto a smaller road. Continue on this road for another 4 kilometers until you reach the dam. The last section may require some walking on unpaved paths, so wear comfortable shoes.

Begin your journey at the Ibri Bus Station, located near the center of town. Look for a local bus heading towards Al Hamra or any bus that indicates it goes towards the mountainous areas. Inform the driver that you want to get off near Wadi Quraiyat. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, ask locals for directions to the dam; it will likely be a short walk from there (approximately 2 kilometers). Be prepared for some unmarked paths and uneven terrain.
