Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mirbat, head southeast towards the coast along the main road (Sultan Qaboos Street). Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Al Mazyona Roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road heading towards Kizetakhayf. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Kizetakhayf, look for Unnamed Road, where you will find signs directing you to Green Lake (البحيرة الخضراء). The lake is approximately 1 kilometer down this road.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Mirbat Fort. Ride east on Sultan Qaboos Street for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Al Mazyona Roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road towards Kizetakhayf and continue cycling for approximately 5 kilometers. As you approach Kizetakhayf, look for Unnamed Road leading to Green Lake (البحيرة الخضراء). The lake is located about 1 kilometer down this road.

• Public Transport

  To visit Green Lake (البحيرة الخضراء) using public transport, start at the Mirbat Bus Station. Look for a local bus heading towards Kizetakhayf. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kizetakhayf, you can ask the bus driver or locals for directions to Unnamed Road, which leads to Green Lake. The lake is about 1 kilometer from the nearest bus stop.
