Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Mirbat, at the main market area. Head southeast on the main road (known as the Mirbat-Taqah Road), walking towards Taqah. This road is well-marked and will lead you out of Mirbat. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Continue straight at the junction, staying on the Mirbat-Taqah Road. Approximately 3 kilometers further along this road, you will see signs directing you towards Taqah. Keep walking straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach the Unnamed Road, where you will find a sign for the Sheeheet sinkhole.

  • Walking

    Once you reach the Unnamed Road, turn left and walk for about 500 meters. You will see local landmarks such as a small coffee shop and a few homes along the way. Continue down this road until you see the entrance to Sheeheet sinkhole on your right. The sinkhole is fenced and visible from the road, so it should be easy to spot.
