• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Khasab, which is roughly 30 kilometers away from Ḩarf Ghabī. Head south on the Batinah Highway (Route 1) until you reach the Ḩarf Ghabī exit. Once in Ḩarf Ghabī, follow local signs towards the Omantel Tower. The tower is located at coordinates 26.2393318, 56.1965759, which you can enter into your GPS for precise navigation. The road is well-maintained, and parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in the Musandam Peninsula, but you can take a local taxi or a shared taxi (known as a 'pickup') from Khasab to Ḩarf Ghabī. The fare should be around 10-15 Omani Rials depending on your negotiation skills. Once you arrive in Ḩarf Ghabī, it is advisable to ask the driver to drop you off as close to the Omantel Tower as possible. The tower is a recognizable landmark, so locals can also provide directions if needed.

  If you are already in Ḩarf Ghabī and wish to walk to the Comb-8 Omantel Tower, it’s a pleasant stroll. From the center of the town, head northeast on the main road towards the coastline. Follow the signs towards the Omantel Tower, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.
