Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at Nizwa Fort, a central landmark in Nizwa. From the fort, head south towards the main road, Al Ghubra Street (Route 21). Once you reach Al Ghubra Street, turn left and walk along the street. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Route 21B, which leads towards the village of Zukait. Follow this road for approximately 7 kilometers. As you approach Zukait, you will see signs indicating the location of the Zukait Tombs. Follow the signs leading you to the tombs, which are situated just off the main road.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Nizwa Grand Mall, take a local bus heading towards Bahla. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Zukait. The bus will take you along Route 21. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Zukait bus stop. From there, head south for about 1 kilometer on foot. You will find the Zukait Tombs along the path as you approach the village.

  • Taxi or Ride-Sharing

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing app (if available). Request the driver to take you to Zukait Tombs.
