Start from the Rustaq Fort, the most iconic landmark in Rustaq. From the fort, head southeast towards the main road, Al Batinah Highway (Route 1). Once you reach the highway, turn left and walk along the pedestrian path. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 23 to Hawqayn.
