Walking
Start at the Rustaq Fort, which is centrally located in Rustaq. Head south on Al Ula Street for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Al Nuzha Street. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through local shops and cafes, and you can stop to ask locals for directions if needed. After 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the edge of town. Keep walking until you see signs for Wadi Al Hujayra. Follow these signs, which will lead you to a footpath that descends into the wadi. The path will take you through some beautiful scenery, and after about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Wadi Camping Place, marked by a small sign.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Rustaq Bus Station, take a local bus heading towards Al Far. Buses typically leave every 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to Wadi Camping Place. After about 20 minutes of travel, the bus will drop you off at a stop near Al Far. Once you get off, walk towards the direction of the wadi entrance, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for signs directing you to Wadi Al Hujayra, and follow the path that leads down into the wadi. It will take you around 15 minutes to reach Wadi Camping Place from the entrance.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Rustaq. Start your journey at Rustaq Fort and cycle south on Al Ula Street. Continue onto Al Nuzha Street and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the edge of town. Look for signs for Wadi Al Hujayra, which will guide you onto a footpath. The bicycle ride should take around 10-15 minutes to reach the wadi entrance. Once there, park your bicycle and walk along the footpath for another 15 minutes to arrive at Wadi Camping Place.
