Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Sohar Corniche, head east towards Al Hujrah. Continue walking along the coast until you reach the intersection with Al Sultana Street. Turn left onto Al Sultana Street and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Sohar Fort on your right, just past the intersection with Al Qasr Street.

  • Public Bus

    Locate the nearest bus stop on the main road (Al Batinah Highway). Board a bus heading towards Al Hujrah. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the stop for Sohar Fort. Once you disembark, walk a short distance north on Al Qasr Street, and Sohar Fort will be directly ahead.

  • Taxi

    Find a taxi near a popular location such as Sohar Mall or the Corniche. Tell the driver you want to go to Sohar Fort (القلعه). The ride is approximately 10 minutes. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the fort.
