Begin your journey at the Bend Public Library located at 601 NW Wall St, Bend, OR 97703. From there, take the Cascades East Transit Bus #1 towards the Bend Park & Recreation District. Get off at the stop 'Bend Park & Recreation District' after about 15 minutes. From there, you can catch Bus #4 towards 'Sisters'. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the 'Coyote Butte' stop, which is approximately 20 minutes away.

If you prefer biking, start at the Old Mill District in Bend. Head south on the bike path along the Deschutes River. Continue on the path until you reach the intersection with Century Drive. Turn left onto Century Drive and bike for about 3 miles. Coyote Butte will be on your right. Make sure to follow the marked bike lanes for safety.

For those who wish to walk, start at the Downtown Bend area. Head south on Wall Street until you reach the intersection with Franklin Avenue. Turn right on Franklin and walk until you reach the intersection with 3rd. Turn left onto 3rd and continue walking straight. After about 2 miles, you will reach Century Drive. Cross Century Drive carefully, and continue walking straight for another mile until you see signs for Coyote Butte.
