Car
From the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, drive towards the town of Bend, Oregon. Take the exit for Century Drive (OR-372) towards the Cascade Mountains. Continue on Century Drive for about 20 miles until you reach the intersection with Forest Road 300. Turn left onto Forest Road 300 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Look for the signs indicating Coyote Butte, and follow the dirt road until you reach the parking area. Note that a vehicle pass may be required, which costs around $5.

If you are using public transportation, take a shuttle from downtown Bend to the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. Once you reach the end of the shuttle service, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Coyote Butte. Be sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance as service may be limited. The taxi fare can vary, but expect to pay around $30-$50 depending on the distance.

If you prefer an adventurous route, park your car at the nearest access point along Forest Road 300. From there, you can hike to Coyote Butte. The hike is about 2 miles and involves some elevation gain. Ensure you have a good map or GPS, as some trails may not be well-marked.
