Car
From Portland, Oregon, take US-26 E for approximately 30 miles. Exit onto OR-211 S towards Sandy. Continue on OR-211 for about 5 miles until you reach Bluff Rd. Turn left onto Bluff Rd, and after about 1 mile, you'll find the Jonsrud Viewpoint parking area on your right. The viewpoint is accessible from the parking area via a short walking path.
Public Transportation
Take the MAX Light Rail Blue Line from downtown Portland to the Gresham City Hall station. From there, transfer to the 57 bus towards Sandy. Ride the bus until the Sandy Transit Center. From the Transit Center, you may need to use a rideshare service or taxi to cover the remaining 6 miles to Jonsrud Viewpoint, as public transportation options may be limited in that area.
Walking
If you are already in Sandy, OR, you can walk to Jonsrud Viewpoint from the Sandy Transit Center. Head east on Pioneer Blvd for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Bluff Rd. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the viewpoint. Note that this route may involve walking along roads without sidewalks.
