Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Bend, Oregon. Head south on US-97 S for about 15 miles until you reach the exit for OR-31 S toward La Pine. Continue on OR-31 S for approximately 20 miles. Then, turn left onto NF-9720. Follow NF-9720 for about 5 miles, and you will arrive at Rock Quarry, which is located at 18760 NF-9720, Bend, OR 97707. Make sure to check road conditions, as some forest roads may be unpaved or closed during certain seasons.

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Bend to La Pine. You can catch a bus from the Bend Central District to La Pine; the trip may take around an hour.
