Getting There

Car
From Portland, OR, take I-84 East towards The Dalles. After approximately 20 miles, take exit 22 for Corbett. Turn right onto E Historic Columbia River Hwy and follow the signs for the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area. Continue on the Historic Highway for about 5 miles until you reach the Wahkeena Falls parking area on your right. The parking area has a small fee of $5 for day-use parking. Once parked, follow the Wahkeena Trail #420.

From downtown Portland, take the MAX Light Rail Blue Line towards Hillsboro. Transfer at the Gateway Transit Center to the 77 - Broadway-Halsey bus towards Gresham. Get off at the Corbett stop. From there, it's about a 1.5-mile walk to the Wahkeena Falls parking area. Please note that public transport schedules may vary, and it’s advised to check the TriMet website for the latest information. There may be costs for fare, which typically ranges from $2.50 to $5 depending on the zones traveled.
