If you're driving, start by heading to I-205 S. From anywhere in Clackamas County, navigate to I-205 and follow signs for Portland. Take Exit 23 for I-84 E toward The Dalles. After approximately 15 miles, take Exit 17 for Troutdale. Continue on E Columbia River Hwy, and follow signs for Larch Mountain Road. This will lead you to the entrance of the Larch Mountain Trail, located at the end of Larch Mountain Road. Be advised that there may be a parking fee at the trailhead, typically around $5.
