Car
From any location in Clackamas County, head towards US-26 E. If you're starting in the city of Oregon City, take Highway 212 E until it merges with US-26 E. Continue on US-26 E for about 30 miles, passing through Sandy and Zigzag. Look for the signs for Mt. Hood National Forest. Take the exit for E Lolo Pass Rd, continue onto this road until you reach the parking area for Little Zigzag Falls. The trailhead is just a short walk from the parking lot.
Public Transportation
Using public transportation, take the TriMet MAX light rail from Portland to Gresham. From Gresham, transfer to the Mount Hood Express bus (Route 600) heading towards Mt. Hood. Ride the bus to the 'Zigzag' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles along E Lolo Pass Rd to reach the parking area for Little Zigzag Falls. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as service may vary.
Hiking
Once you've parked at the Little Zigzag Falls trailhead, the hike to the falls is approximately 0.5 miles round trip. The trail is well-marked and relatively easy, making it accessible for all ages. Follow the trail signs and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear as the trail can be uneven in places.
