    Car

    If you're driving from Portland, take I-84 East toward The Dalles. Continue on I-84 for about 35 miles until you reach Exit 44 for Cascade Locks. After exiting, turn right onto Cascade Locks Hwy and then take a left onto the Historic Columbia River Hwy. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles, and you will find Ponytail Falls on your left. Look for parking areas nearby.

    Public Transportation

    To visit Ponytail Falls using public transportation, take the MAX light rail from downtown Portland to the Clackamas Town Center. From there, catch a TriMet bus (Route 77) toward the town of Sandy. You will need to transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express at the Sandy Transit Center.
