If you are driving from Hood River, head west on I-84. Take exit 35 for Bridal Veil and merge onto Historic Columbia River Highway. Continue for about 4 miles until you reach the Oneonta Gorge entrance on your right. Look for the marked parking area, but be aware that the entrance may be gated, so check for accessibility.

From Portland, take the Columbia Gorge Express bus (check the schedule online for service times). Get off at the Multnomah Falls stop.
