Car
From the center of Clackamas County, head east on I-205 N. Take exit 12B to merge onto US-26 E towards Mount Hood. Continue on US-26 E for approximately 30 miles. Watch for signs for Mt. Hood and take the exit for OR-35 N. Merge onto OR-35 N and continue for about 10 miles until you see the signs for Tamanawas Falls. The parking area is located near the Tamanawas Falls trailhead. Please note that parking may be limited during peak times, so arrive early!
Public Transportation
From Clackamas Town Center, take the TriMet MAX Green Line towards Clackamas Town Center. Transfer at the Gateway Transit Center to the MAX Blue Line towards Hillsboro. Get off at the Gresham City Hall stop. From there, catch the Columbia Gorge Express (check their schedule for departure times) which offers direct service to the Mt. Hood area. Inform the driver you want to visit Tamanawas Falls. The bus will drop you off at the nearest access point, and you will need to walk a short distance to reach the trailhead.
