Car
To reach Bonnie Lure State Park by car, start from the nearest major city, Portland. Head southeast on I-205 S. Take Exit 12 for OR-224 toward Estacada. Merge onto OR-224 E and follow it for about 16 miles. Turn right onto SE Dowty Rd after you see signs for Eagle Creek. Continue on SE Dowty Rd for about 1 mile until you reach Bonnie Lure State Park at 23689 SE Dowty Rd, Eagle Creek, OR 97022. Note that there is no entrance fee for the park.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start at the Portland Transit Center. Take the MAX Green Line towards Clackamas Town Center. At the Clackamas Town Center, transfer to the TriMet bus line 156 towards Estacada. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at SE Dowty Rd. From there, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles to Bonnie Lure State Park. Be sure to check the TriMet website for the latest schedules and fares, which typically cost around $2.50 for a single ride.
