If you are driving, start by getting onto I-84 E from your current location in Columbia River Gorge. Follow I-84 E for about 10 miles until you reach Exit 18 for Corbett. Take the exit and turn left onto Historic Columbia River Hwy. Continue on this highway for approximately 3 miles. You will see the Angel's Rest trailhead parking lot on your left. Note that parking is free, but it can fill up quickly on weekends.

For those using public transportation, you can take the TriMet bus line 77 from the Gateway Transit Center in Portland. The bus will take you to the Corbett area. Once you arrive in Corbett, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the Historic Columbia River Highway to reach the Angel's Rest trailhead. Make sure to check the TriMet website for the latest schedules and potential costs, as a one-way fare is typically around $2.50.
