From Portland, Oregon, take I-84 E towards The Dalles. Continue on I-84 E for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 28 for Corbett, and turn left onto E Historic Columbia River Highway. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles. You will see Shepperd's Dell Falls on the right side of the highway, where there is a small parking area. Please note that parking may be limited, especially during peak tourist seasons.

From downtown Portland, you can take the MAX Light Rail Blue Line towards The Dalles. Get off at the Gateway Transit Center and transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus service (available seasonally). The bus will take you to stops along the Historic Columbia River Highway. Make sure to check the schedule for the Columbia Gorge Express as it may not run daily. Disembark at the nearest stop to Shepperd's Dell Falls, and from there, it is a short walk to the falls. Be aware that bus fares will apply, and you should check the current rates and schedules online before your trip.
