    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Portland, take I-84 East. After approximately 30 miles, take exit 28 for Bridal Veil. Merge onto the Historic Columbia River Highway and continue for about 3 miles. You will see the sign for Multnomah Falls on your right. The parking area is located just off the highway.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Multnomah Falls via public transportation, start at the Portland Transit Center and take the Columbia Gorge Express bus. The bus runs daily and will take you directly to Multnomah Falls. The trip takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Multnomah Falls stop, you will be just a short walk from the falls themselves.

    If you are coming from Hood River, head west on I-84. After about 20 miles, take exit 31 for Cascade Locks/Bridal Veil. Turn left onto the Historic Columbia River Highway and continue for about 5 miles. Look for the Multnomah Falls signage as you approach, and the parking area will be on your left.
