If you're traveling by car, start on I-84 E from any location in Columbia River Gorge. Take exit 64 for WA-14 W towards Hood River. Continue on WA-14 W for approximately 15 miles. Look for signs directing you to Horsethief Lake State Park Rd. Turn right onto Horsethief Lake State Park Rd and follow it until you reach the entrance of the park. Note that there may be a parking fee, so be prepared for that cost.
