From Roseburg, Oregon, take OR-138 East for approximately 35 miles until you reach the junction with Forest Road 34. Turn right onto Forest Road 34 and continue for about 10 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Umpqua Hot Springs. You will need to navigate a gravel road (NF-3401) to reach the hot springs parking area. Please note that the road can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Parking is free.

Take a Greyhound or other regional bus service to Roseburg, Oregon. From Roseburg, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get you to the Umpqua Hot Springs area. Once you arrive at the parking area on NF-3401, prepare for a 10-minute hike up a steep incline to reach the hot springs. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

If you are already in the Idleyld Park area, you can access Umpqua Hot Springs by hiking from nearby trails. The nearest trailhead is located off NF-3401. Follow the trail signs for a steep 10-minute hike to reach the hot springs. Be mindful of the terrain and wear appropriate footwear.
