After approximately 2.5 hours of driving, merge onto I-84 W towards Portland. Continue for about 78 miles. Take exit 14 for NE 223rd Ave and turn right onto NE 223rd Ave. After approximately 4 miles, turn left onto NE Blue Lake Rd. The park will be on your right at 21224 NE Blue Lake Rd, Fairview, OR 97024.

To reach Blue Lake Regional Park using public transportation, you can take the Greyhound bus from John Day to Portland. Once in Portland, transfer to the MAX Light Rail at the Greyhound station.
