Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Hood River, start at the corner of Oak Street and 1st Street. Head east on Oak Street towards 2nd Street and turn left onto 2nd Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn right onto State Street (US-30). Continue along State Street as it winds along the Columbia River. After about 1.5 miles, you will see the entrance to Tucker Park on your right at 2440 Dee Hwy. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, start in downtown Hood River. Head east on Oak Street towards 2nd Street and turn left onto 2nd Street. Continue straight until you reach State Street (US-30). Turn right onto State Street and follow it for about 1.5 miles. You'll find Tucker Park on your right at 2440 Dee Hwy. The bike ride will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Tucker Park via public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the Columbia Area Transit (CAT). Board the bus heading towards Dee and ask the driver to let you off at the closest stop to Tucker Park. The nearest stop is typically along Dee Highway. From there, it will be just a short walk to the park entrance at 2440 Dee Hwy.
