    If you're starting in downtown Hood River, head east on Oak Street towards 2nd Street. Turn left on 2nd Street and continue until you reach State Route 35. Cross over to the other side of the street. Continue walking north on State Route 35 for about 1.5 miles. The Gorge White House will be on your right at 2265 OR-35. Look for the large white building with a welcoming sign.

    From downtown Hood River, rent a bike from a local shop. Head east on Oak Street, then take 2nd Street north towards State Route 35. Once you reach State Route 35, turn right and bike north.
