Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from the center of Jefferson County, head north on US-97. Continue on US-97 for about 15 miles until you reach the exit for OR-26 East toward Madras. Merge onto OR-26 East and continue for approximately 9 miles. Take the exit toward Madras and merge onto the local road. Follow the signs leading to NW Pelton Dam Rd. Turn right onto NW Pelton Dam Rd; Lake Simtustus Resort will be located on your left at 2750 NW Pelton Dam Rd, Madras, OR 97741.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking the Jefferson County Transit bus from the main transit center in Madras. Check the current schedule for bus times as they may vary. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to Lake Simtustus Resort, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance of about 3 miles to the resort. Be sure to check for any fare costs associated with the bus and the taxi service.

• Bicycle

  If you're an adventurous cyclist, you can bike from Madras. Start at the center of Madras and head north on US-97 until you reach the junction with OR-26 East.
